A recent report claims that many brick-and-mortar retailers in India have refused to sell the three current Android One smartphones, because Google and its hardware partners decided back in September to give online sales a head start.

The Times of India reports, via unnamed sources, that the OEM partners Micromax, Karbonn and Spice recently decided to offer their smartphones to retail stores, but a number of them have apparently passed because Google launched the budget devices on websites like Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal first. Other retailers don't seem to share their concerns and have already begun selling those Android One phones.
Spice and Karbonn have reported increased sales for their Android One products compared to their online revenues. Micromax has not revealed its Android One sales numbers.
What is your impression of the first Android One smartphones?
