According to an anonymous tipster, Samsung is preparing to launch yet another market dependant variant of the Galaxy Note 4.
At present, the South Korean company’s flagship phablet is available with one of two different processors on board, the first is its own Exynos 7 Octa chip and the other is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805, but if this speculation turns out to be true, we could be seeing a Snapdragon 810 model of the Galaxy Note 4 on the market as soon as January, 2015.
The informant also claims that Samsung will be introducing the brand new Adreno 430 GPU to this latest device, which would be a significant improvement over the existing Adreno 420 chip found in the current Note 4. This coupled with the 810 chipset and the handset’s 3GB of RAM would make an exceptional smartphone with a true 64-bit octa-core CPU that will be more than capable of coping with all future Android updates.
The device is supposedly already undergoing in-house testing by all three major South Korean mobile carriers, but, unfortunately, as of yet, that’s neither confirmed nor denied. We certainly hope that this turns out to be true, though, as a Snapdragon 810 variant of the Note 4 would be an immensely powerful stellar device, and we’d love to get our hands on one.
