Earlier today, an unannounced Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-A700H made a pitstop at the FCC. Information included in the brief filing documentation reveals that we’re probably looking at yet another variant of the upcoming Galaxy A7, but this time with no LTE compatibility.

Unfortunately, the paperwork doesn’t disclose anything about the internals of the device, but we do know that the handset is expected to pack a variety of different connectivity options, including support for Bluetooth Class 1 (Version 4.0, LE+EDR), 802.11b/802.11g/802.11n Wi-Fi (dual-band), NFC and GPS.
Recent leaks, rumors and speculation suggests that the Galaxy A7 is set to feature a metal unibody design measuring 133 x 67 mm (that’s approximately 6mm thick), a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 405 GPU and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera.
