It’s common knowledge by this point that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be launching by the first quarter of 2015.
And just as we head into 2015, we’re starting to get a rough idea regarding the hardware of this Samsung flagship (SM-G925F). The latest revelation comes from AnTuTu, which is renowned for leaking out hardware details of smartphones and tablets ahead of schedule. The AnTuTu listing suggests that the Galaxy S6 will sport a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa core SoC. Unsurprisingly, the smartphone is shown to be running Android 5.0 by default, probably with the latest version of TouchWiz. The rear camera is revealed to be a 20-megapixel unit while the front consists of a 5-megapixel sensor.
This could prove to be quite the smartphone if the specs sheet remains unchanged by the time of launch. But since this is still a leak, we’re bound to take it with a pinch of salt and suggest you do the same. Will Samsung be willing to go the phablet route with the Galaxy S6 or stick with a 5 inch display which has worked quite well for the company? Only time will tell.
